Please Die Soon, We need the Bed

by saylagare on December 16, 2009

Now that the health care debate is winding down, it is time for us to deal with you as the economics of the situation intended.  You need to die.  You have taken up too much of our time and resources.  You need to die.  The true death panels have spoken.  They are not the government’s;  they are ours, the oxymoronically named health care industry.

The farcical dance that has been waged this year in Congress was designed to fool the electorate to think that anyone actually cared about health care.  The only health care that actually matters is the financial health care of the industry and the legislators they own.  Republicans are so far up the nether parts of the industry as to be tugging at the epiglottis.  The Democrats give lip service to the American public while greedily pocketing any “contributions” that come their way from the industry.  And Senator Lieberman, we don’t know WTF he is, but he’s ours, lock, stock, and handsomely paid wife.

So die soon, please.  We’ve already run your premiums and deductibles to the point of beggaring.  The insurance CEO’s have already milked you dry.  The pharmacy companies have had their cut.  This hospital has already bled you dry.  Die soon, please.

Good news.  You’re bankrupt and further coverage has been denied.  You are now eligible for Los Angeles outpatient care plan; on Skid Row.  Your ambulance is standing by.
